Last week, Leadership Savannah held its annual tourism program where the class learned about the history, growth, and future of one of our leading economic sectors: tourism. Guest speakers included Vaughnette Goode-Walker, Owner of Footprints of Savannah Walking tours, Corey Jones, CEO of Lucky Savannah Vacation Rentals, Michael Owens, President of Tourism Leadership Council, and President of Visit Savannah, Joseph Marinelli. The class spent the afternoon hearing about how Visit Savannah attracts visitors and helps provides unique travel experiences.

The class enjoyed a relaxing rooftop cocktail to end the day with the iconic view of the Savannah River.
