As we begin a new year, I would like to say hello and introduce myself as the 2016 Chamber chair. It’s going to be an exciting year with many great things to come.
Now is a great time to take advantage of all the things the Chamber offers you—by attending networking opportunities, using the extranet to update your information for the Chamber and Visit Savannah websites, participating in one of several councils within the Chamber and reaping all of the benefits of your Chamber membership.

Speaking of networking, a very busy January is before us, with the Small Business Council Luncheon on Jan. 12, a business connection in conjunction with the annual Savannah Tire Hockey Classic on Jan. 14, Economic Outlook Luncheon on Jan. 20 and Savannah-Chatham Day in Atlanta on Jan. 28.

On behalf of the Chamber board and staff, we are looking forward to a prosperous 2016. We, along with our members, will focus on continuing to grow our business community and tourism numbers for this year and beyond.
