Pin Point Heritage Museum Hosts August Business on the Move

August’s Business on the Move networking event for small business owners and employees was hosted at Pin Point Heritage Museum, a unique educational center where visitors can authentically learn about the Gullah/Geechee culture of the Low Country. Formerly the A.S. Varn & Son Oyster Factory, Pin Point Heritage Museum tells the story of how a small community made a living by the water that surrounds Savannah, and celebrates a rich history and tradition at risk of fading away forever. All of the museum buildings and exhibits were open to attendees so they could experience this incredible piece of history unique to the area. Around 70 members joined the Chamber staff at the museum, making it one of the highest-attended Business on the Move events ever! Thank you to everyone who spent their evening with the Chamber and staff of Pin Point Heritage Museum, and to Barracuda Bob’s for bringing the snacks!

Business on the Move is a special networking opportunity offered several times a year to highlight local Chamber businesses.
