Savannah Chamber Participates in U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Equality of Opportunity Initiative
Early this week, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce proudly announced 426 chambers and trade associations who signed on to become national partners of the Chamber’s Equality of Opportunity Initiative. On June 25, Savannah Chamber’s director of governmental affairs, Jared Downs will join the U.S. Chamber’s national townhall event where businesses and community leaders will discuss concrete actions that can be taken by government and the private sector to address inequality through education.
