The lifeblood of the Chamber is its members, and the Savannah Area Chamber membership team works diligently to ensure new members are brought into the group and current members remain active with our organization.
Currently, the Chamber’s active membership totals 2,200 members. At the end of August, the Chamber had reached 95 percent of its new member goal for 2015 and is on track to exceed the retention rate for the year as well. For the past four consecutive years, the Savannah Chamber’s retention rate has been at 89-90 percent, which is well above the industry average.

These positive numbers would not be possible without the help of Chamber and Visit Savannah staff, Chamber ambassadors and members who offer referrals to other business owners for membership.
