Savannah Chamber, Visit Savannah Support Give Change that Counts Initiative to Reduce Homelessness

Chamber President and CEO Bert Brantley and the Chamber’s Jennifer Davenport, Conni Reynolds, and Visit Savannah’s Erica Backus joined Mayor Van Johnson and the City of Savannah in unveiling new downtown signage promoting the Change that Counts campaign.

Give Change that Counts initiative is a campaign to raise awareness and funds for day centers serving the homeless in Savannah. The campaign was launched in this summer by the Chatham Savannah Authority for the Homeless (CSAH) with the collaboration and financial support of Chatham County, the City of Savannah, and major economic development groups, including the Savannah Chamber of Commerce and Visit Savannah, Savannah Downtown Business Association, Savannah Downtown Neighborhood Association, Savannah Economic Development Authority, Savannah’s Waterfront, and the Tourism Leadership Council.
