Savannah-Chatham Day in Atlanta is This Week!

Savannah-Chatham Day is this Thursday at the State Capitol. Beginning at 2 p.m., in the Capitol Room 341, we will begin with legislative meetings. We have a busy schedule and limited seating, so it’s recommended that attendees plan to arrive early. At this time, we have 11 state elected or appointed officials scheduled to speak. At this time they are:

  • Lt. Governor, Casey Cagle
  • Attorney General, Chris Carr
  • Commissioner, Department of Agriculture, Gary Black
  • Adjutant General, Joe Jarrard
  • Secretary of State, Brian Kemp
  • Commissioner, GADOT, Russell McMurry
  • Board Member, GADOT, Ann Purcell
  • House Speaker, David Ralston
  • Commissioner, Department of Economic Development, Pat Wilson
  • Superintendent, Department of Education, Richard Woods

After the meetings have ended, our annual Seafood Fest Reception will begin at 5 p.m. at the Georgia Train Depot. Please remember that you must have a ticket to enter the Seafood Reception (no exceptions).
