The Visit Savannah team and its partners traveled to Houston this week for one of the industry’s premier events, the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Convening Leaders conference.

As part of their efforts, the Savannah team hosted an exclusive event in Houston, a replication of a “Savannah Speakeasy,” which welcomed over 50 of the nation’s leading association and corporate meeting planners. The excitement surrounding the opening of the newly expanded Savannah Convention Center was a highlight of the event, with many planners expressing their eagerness to bring their annual meetings to Savannah.

PCMA focuses on education, networking, and innovation within the meetings and events industry. It provides tools, resources, and events to help professionals create impactful and successful experiences.
