SCCPSS Seeks Volunteer Businesses for QUEST Program

Savannah Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) seeks business partners to provide career and vocational opportunities by volunteering their time and workspace to a cohort of 20 or fewer students over this school year through the QUEST program. Volunteer businesses would agree to visit the cohort in a local high school where the students would hear about their business, industry, or non-profit. Guest speakers will share valuable knowledge and key information about their trade and how to enter their field.

In addition to speaking in a school, volunteer businesses will also host students in their workplace one or more times during the school year. The QUEST program is specifically designed to expose students to various careers and occupational paths in the local workforce.

The program is offered beginning this Fall and will conclude at the end of the school year in May of 2023. The particular schedule of visits and talks would be decided by the volunteer business.
