The Board of Directors for the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce has engaged the executive search firm Waverly Partners to identify a new CEO/President.

Earlier this spring, the current CEO/President, William Hubbard, following his 24 years of service and 40 years within the Chamber industry, announced his plans to retire by the year’s end. The Chamber’s Executive Committee members selected Waverly Partners after an evaluation of proposals from several national search firms. Waverly Partners is a nationwide executive search firm serving various Fortune 500 manufacturing and service corporations, nonprofits, privately held entrepreneurial growth companies, and professional service firms across the country. Waverly is well known for  specializing in Chambers of Commerce and Development Authorities.

Waverly has crafted a detailed position description for Hubbard’s successor. Guidance and input came from the Chamber’s search committee and member focus groups comprised of Chamber Board Members, community stakeholders, and community volunteers.
