The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce is working with the Small Business Chamber, Buy Local Savannah, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the South of DeRenne Association to promote “shopping small” this holiday season. The efforts will focus on Small Business Saturday on November 26, the Saturday following Thanksgiving.
Members, especially those in the retail and service industry, are encouraged to register to participate in Small Business Saturday! Registration includes the following benefits for small business owners:

– A social media toolkit

– Promotion on the “Small Business Saturday Savannah” Facebook page

– A stop on the TrekSavannah Small Biz Saturday Scavenger Hunt (if located downtown and registered before 11/11/2016)

– Small Business Saturday Welcome Kit: includes in-store tools to promote your participation

Additionally, there will be several welcome stations set up around town on Small Business Saturday at places like Blends Coffee Boutique, Friendship Coffee and Harkleroad Diamonds where Chamber members and other Shop Small contributors will be providing information on participating businesses and advertising what specials are available.
