Small Business Council Focuses on Diversifying Savannah’s Workforce
The Chamber hosted its monthly Small Business Council Luncheon at the Savannah Morning News building on March 3. Brian Hussey, a board member with the Low Country Down Syndrome Society, spoke about further diversifying Savannah’s workforce through the employment of those with special abilities. More than 90 people came to learn about the topic while networking with area professionals. These luncheons occur the first Tuesday of every month, highlighting topics pertinent to Savannah’s small business community.
