Sports Council Auctions Dinner with Carolina Panther Cam Newton
The Savannah Sports Council hosted an online auction last week to benefit NFL player Cam Newton’s 7v7 football camp event in Savannah. The dinner took place the evening before the 7v7 event at the Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex.
The auction covered seven seats at the table with Newton. Each winning bidder also received an official signed NFL football. The top bidder was sat adjacent to Newton, and bidders two through seven were seated in order of their bid. Proceeds for the auction were of direct benefit to the Cam Newton 7v7 event, which began June 7 at the Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex. 7v7 finals took place Saturday, June 8 at Memorial Stadium.
