Last weekend, Rob Wells and Jonathan Sykes of the Savannah Sports Council attended the Wilmington Island Farmers Market to talk about and register participants for events hosted by the Sports Council in the end of 2018 and beginning of 2019. Scheduled for Saturday, December 1 is the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run, known as “the South’s toughest bridge run.” In the new year, the Enmarket Savannah Hockey Classic brings four of the South’s most exciting collegiate hockey teams to the Civic Center January 17-19. In spring, the Publix Savannah Women’s Half will lead runners through some of Savannah’s most beautiful streets and squares the weekend of April 6.
