Sports Events Manager Katelyn Presti recently represented the Savannah Sports Council, the Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K and the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run at the 2020 Running USA Industry Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Each year, the Running USA Industry Conference brings together the top sports event organizers in the business to discuss best practices, hear keynote speakers to inspire new ideas, provide networking opportunities and celebratory industry awards, and lively discussion and small group sessions in its Idea Labs and Race Camps in addition to its industry expo, where attendees learn about the latest innovations, new products and technologies. Presti had the opportunity to rub elbows with some of her best-known counterparts in the sports event industry, including two-time Olympian Kara Goucher and Boston Marathon Race Director Dave McGillivray, pictured with her here.
