Stakeholder Meetings Scheduled for NewZO Ordinances

The Chamber of Commerce is scheduling a series of meetings on the proposed the City of Savannah’s new zoning ordinance—referred to as NewZO—with impacted stakeholders on their areas of interest. During this time, members will be able to discuss the draft ordinance with representatives from the City of Savannah and Metropolitan Planning Commission.
Stakeholder meetings on the topics covered in the NewZO began Monday, July 23, but the meetings continue through August 1. Visit NewZO.org/Home/Ordinance to read the material relevant to each topic.

Stakeholders are invited to attend the scheduled meetings below:

Monday, July 23
Airport/Gulfstream/SEDA 9 – 10:15 a.m.
Car Dealers 10:30 a.m. – Noon
Tuesday, July 24
Convenience Stores 9 – 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday, July 25
Churches 9 – 10:15 a.m.
Emerging Businesses/Entrepreneurs 10:30 – Noon
Hospitals 1:30 – 3 p.m.
Home Builders 3:30 – 5 p.m.
Thursday, July 26
STVR/Hospitality/Lodging 2 – 3 p.m.
Friday, July 27
Warehouse/Industrial 10:30 – Noon
Military 1:30 – 3 p.m.
Monday, July 30
SCAD/SSU/Ga Southern/Sav Tech 10:30 a.m. – Noon
Tuesday, July 31
Restaurants (Non-alcohol licensed entities) 1 – 2 p.m.
Restaurants/Bars (Alcohol licensed entities) 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Special Event Venues 4 – 5 p.m.
Wednesday, August 1
Marinas  9-10 a.m. 
Retail 10:30 a.m. – Noon
