Hire Interns to Support City of Savannah Internship Programs

This summer, the City of Savannah will implement two intern programs for high school students. The Savannah Area Chamber, along with a number of other community organizations and businesses, are partnering to help identify jobs for the City of Savannah’s Pre-apprentice Summer Work Program, geared toward teens who would benefit from intense education and work skills training as well as Summer 500, the summer work program designed for rising seniors. Both programs will benefit students across Chatham County and feature life skills training while offering students the ability to put their knowledge to use through coordinated job opportunities.
Part-time student jobs are needed from employers of all industries and the success of this program will rely heavily on participation from our business community!

We urge our members to join us in this important initiative that will help strengthen the Savannah area’s local job market and ensure students are fully prepared to succeed in an increasingly competitive workforce.
