The Chamber is getting some help this summer as the organization welcomed four college interns to the team. Selected from a pool of applying students from regional colleges and universities, the selected talent brings a wealth of enthusiasm to our team.
Audrey Simons is a rising junior at Samford University. She is majoring in journalism and mass communication, focusing on public relations. She will contribute her skills to the Communications and Community Affairs department under Vice President of Community Affairs Jennifer Davenport.
Tripp Flowers is a senior at the College of Charleston, majoring in political science and religious studies. He joins us at the Savannah Chamber of Commerce to explore governmental relations and small business advocacy under Vice President of Governmental Affairs Jared Downs.
Sheridan Broker is a rising senior at Kennesaw State University, passionate about public relations and sociology. She joins the Chamber’s Communications team under Director of Communications Erica Backus, where she will play a vital role in our communications efforts.
Sarah Iocovozzi is a recent graduate of Georgia College and State University with a degree in marketing and a concentration in sales. She brings her expertise to the Savannah Sports Council, assisting Director Kristyn Smith with the execution of large-scale sporting events.
The intern team will head up the Chamber’s InternSAV program this summer and assist in other key areas of the organization.
