The Clyde Venue Hosts July Coffee Chats

Wake up and smell the coffee!

On July 2, the Chamber hosted its Coffee Chats morning networking event at the newly-opened Clyde Venue on Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. The event hosted nearly 60 guests from across the spectrum of Chamber businesses who spent the first 30 minutes on open networking, then spent the next 30 minutes listening to each attendee share a 10-15 second “elevator pitch” about who they are and what they do. After everyone had spoken, the group enjoyed another 30 minutes meeting and greeting their new acquaintances and sipping on Bitty & Beau’s coffee. A hearty breakfast was also provided by the Maple Street Biscuit Company.

The Chamber knows that people like to do business with people they know. That’s why we offer six networking events scheduled for morning, lunchtime and after hours, at different locations around the Savannah area. These events are intended to provide the most opportunity for members to build relationships with their fellow members during a time of day that is convenient for them. Join us for Coffee Chats and Speed Networking in the mornings, the Power Hour and Courses & Conversation over lunch, and Business Connections and Business on the Move at the end of the work day.
