Tickets are still available for the Chamber’s Business Awards Banquet on November 2, the annual awards dinner to honor standout leaders from the Savannah area and recognize individuals and businesses that represent local economic drivers including hospitality, manufacturing and small business.
2017 is the first year the Chamber will be awarding the Cornerstone Award, intended to encourage non-profit/for-profit partnerships to result in a richer, better trained and more diverse and inclusive human resource pool in the community. The honored organization should have a mission exemplifying an effort to bridge the gap between non-profit resources and for-profit goals toward the overall enrichment of Savannah’s local business environment.
