In response to Hurricane Helene, United Way of the Coastal Empire has activated the Rapid Response Disaster Fund for Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, Liberty, and Long counties in partnership with County Emergency Management Agencies. These funds provide critical response and recovery support to residents impacted across the region.

Through this fund, our 211 Information and Referral Service helps provide people with resources from many different sources. People can reach 211 by going to www.uwce.org/211, emailing 211@uwce.org, or calling 211 Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our 211 team is hard at work. Please be patient with our team as they work through the high volume of calls and emails. If an individual seeking support cannot reach 211, please email them at 211@uwce.org.
