Visit Savannah Attends International Media Marketplace in New York
Last week, the Visit Savannah PR team traveled to New York for Travmedia’s International Media Marketplace (IMM), the leading global networking event connecting the travel industry with top journalists, editors, influencers, and broadcasters. The team participated in a total of 48 appointments, pitching unique stories about Savannah and Tybee Island, and hearing updates about what writers are looking for this year.
The Visit Savannah team met one-on-one with journalists, editors, and broadcasters representing Travel + Leisure, Nat Geo Travel, CBS Travel, the BBC, AAA Magazine, Fortune, and USAToday! The team will follow up with these new contacts and work on getting earned media places within the year!
