Visit Savannah welcomes Supriya Christopher as their new Director of Public Relations, bringing over 25 years of strategic communication experience. Starting her career as a news anchor for USA Today and ABC News, she later excelled in media relations for city government. She held VP positions at major corporations like The Walt Disney Company. Supriya is deeply involved in her community, being a state delegate candidate and serving on Virginia’s Veterans Services Foundation.

She’s also an accomplished author and actor. At Visit Savannah, Supriya will focus on media relations and editorial strategy, aiming to strengthen connections within the community. She holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Johns Hopkins University and is a Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership graduate. Supriya shares her life with her retired Naval pilot husband and two sons, their family of four now calls Savannah home, ready to embark on new ventures under Supriya’s leadership.
