Leadership Savannah graduates are invited to a Graduate Program on Jan. 12 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department (SCMPD) Administrative Services Complex at 3401 Edwin Street.
Attendees will learn how the SCMPD has re-branded and changed its recruiting and retention methods to be ready and in full force on our city’s streets. Other topics covered include protocols of “use of force,” body cameras and how the Citizens’ Police Academy is helping many citizens learn how to protect themselves, be engaged and in the know. The current Leadership Savannah class just experienced some of these same topics last month, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
