Shot by Somi Studios, formerly located on the southside of Savannah, is thrilled to announce the grand re-opening of its new, centrally-located studio. Nestled on Park of Commerce Way, the new location boasts a fresh look and is primed to better serve the Savannah community. The new space is specifically designed to elevate the in-studio photography experience for customers, while continuing to offer Shot by Somi Studios’ esteemed onsite and special event photography services.
“We are incredibly excited about this new chapter,” said Somi Benson-Jaja, ” the new location not only enhances accessibility for our clients but also aligns with our mission to provide top-notch photography services. We are committed to capturing those special moments in a space that resonates with creativity.”
The grand re-opening celebration will take place Tuesday August 29th, from 4:00pm-7:00pm, at 41 Park of Commerce way Suite 303, with the Ribbon Cutting at 4:30pm. The event will feature live music, small bites, special promotions, and an opportunity to view the new Shot by Somi Studios.
Community members, media representatives, and photography enthusiasts are cordially invited to attend this landmark event. Ribbon Cutting for The Drayton Hotel Savannah, Curio Collection by Hilton

Join us for this special event that will start at 9 a.m. for media interviews. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will kick off at 10a.m. with the cutting of the ribbon, followed by festivities including Dottie’s light bites and Drayton coffee in the Living Room until 11am.

Ribbon Cutting for Sonshine Therapy Clinic

Sonshine Therapy is a pediatric outpatient clinic offering exceptional speech, occupational, and physical therapy services to children Birth – 18 years of age. Sonshine therapy is a team of 12 multidisciplinary therapists including 6 speech therapists, 4 occupational therapists, and two physical therapists. They recently won Connect Best of Savannah for OT/ Speech and were a clinic finalist. Sonshine offers community therapy as well to bring improved access to therapy services in the Savannah community. Ribbon Cutting for Savannah Airbrush

Artist and Owner Casey Moritz has brought her years of airbrushing experience in Pennsylvania to the Savannah community. The studio, located on the Southside in Georgetown, offers all forms of airbrushing on just about any item imaginable! From traditional t-shirts and apparel to helmets and guitars, and any item in between, Casey can make your ideas a reality. The studio also offers custom printed items- we can create one item or 100’s depending on your need. Banners to buttons, backpacks to wallets, we can create a custom gift that’s sure to please. Savannah Airbrush held their Ribbon Cutting on Friday August, 25, and held another family-based event for locals to see the items they offer and participate in the activities! Kids made their own buttons, created spin art paintings, Visited with local fire trucks, met with Tinkerbell, who made a visit at Balanced You Natural Emporium. There was cake, sno-balls, and other specials from the wonderful businesses located in the Village at Georgetown Plaza.
