The Chamber Power Hour | January 8

Join the Chamber’s Small Business Council at The Grand Lake Club at Southbridge for a lunch-and-learn and networking opportunity! The Chamber Power Hour takes place the second Tuesday of each month and features a guest speaker from the community presenting a topic relevant to small business owners and employees. In January, the Chamber welcomes back Jeffrey Williamson of the J.L Williamson Law Group to present, “New Year, New Tax Rules: What Every Business Owner Needs to Know About Tax Reform.” This presentation will highlight major changes to the tax rules that affect small business owners and will also discuss tax planning for 2019. It will cover, among other things, the new depreciation rules, the new 199A deduction, and changes affecting partnerships.
Lunch will be provided and is included in the registration cost. Make sure to bring plenty of business cards for meeting potential clients and partners!
