The Savannah Sports Council (SSC) is proud to introduce the Savannah Invitational basketball tournament in 2016. The five-day event, which will take place November 22-26 at the Savannah Civic Center, will bring six women’s and eight men’s college basketball teams to Savannah.
Participating women’s teams and conferences, which are scheduled to play Nov. 22-24, are Auburn University (SEC), Ball State University (MAC), East Carolina University (AAC), Marist College (MAAC), North Carolina A&T (MEAC) and West Virginia University (Big 12).

Participating men’s teams and conferences, which are scheduled to play Nov. 25-26, are University of Akron (MAC), the U.S. Air Force Academy (MWC), East Carolina University (AAC), Florida A&M (MEAC), Georgia Southern University (Sunbelt), Mercer University (SoCon), Radford University (Big South) and Stetson (Atlantic Sun).

The tickets for the women’s tournament are $10 for mezzanine seats and $20 for lodge/floor tickets (group, college and military discounts available). See below for the women’s schedule:

Round One on Tuesday, Nov. 22

• East Carolina University vs. Marist College at 2 p.m.
• Auburn University vs. Ball State Universityat 4:30 p.m.
• North Carolina A&T vs. West Virginia University at 7 p.m.

Round Two on Wednesday, Nov. 23

• Ball State vs. North Carolina A&T at 2 p.m.
• East Carolina University vs. West Virginia University at 4:30 p.m.
• Marist College vs. Auburn University at 7 p.m.

Round Three on Thursday, Nov. 24

• North Carolina A&T vs. Marist College at 2 p.m.
• Ball State vs. East Carolina University at 4:30 p.m.
• West Virginia University vs. Auburn University at 7 p.m.

The tickets for the men’s tournament are $10 for mezzanine seats, $20 for lodge seats and $50 for floor seats (group, college and military discounts available). See below for the men’s schedule: 

Round Three on Friday, Nov. 25

• Radford University vs. Stetson College at 12 p.m.
• Georgia Southern University vs. Florida A&M at 2:30 p.m.
• Mercer University vs. East Carolina University at 5 p.m.
• University of Akron vs. Air Force at 7:30 p.m.

Final Round on Saturday, Nov. 26

• Stetson College vs. Florida A&M at 12 p.m.
• Radford University vs. Georgia Southern University at 2:30 p.m.
• L1 vs. L2 at 5 p.m.
• W1 vs. W2 at 7:30 p.m.
