Last summer, the local business community showed exponential support in the city of Savannah’s student summer internship program. The program will return this year and the city once again needs help from the business community to provide hands-on summer work opportunities for high school students.
Mayor Eddie Deloach and the city of Savannah will host a thank you reception Wednesday, February 8 from 5:30-7 p.m. to thank last year’s participants and share upcoming plans for the program. Those who participated last year andthose who are interested in participating this year are invited to attend.

The Chamber and the City believe programs such as these are in important investment in the future of our workforce that could have an impact for years to come.
