First U.S. Land Rover Classic Facility to be Built in Savannah
Georgia Governor Nathan Deal recently announced that Jaguar Land Rover Classic has chosen Savannah to be the home of its first U.S. facility. The new facility will be located in Crossroads Business Park, near a portion of Gulfstream Aerospace, and will be both manufacturing and rebuilding classic Jaguar and Land Rover vehicle models. According to Trip Tollison, president & CEO of the Savannah Economic Authority, the plant will be hiring 75 high-paying jobs with wages of $80,000 and up. Construction is set to begin in the fall of 2019.
