BETTER THAN SEX-A DESSERT RESTAURANT
Better Than Sex-A Dessert Restaurant is perfect for celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or date night with your special someone. They specialize in house-made desserts, chocolate rimmed beer and wine, and signature cocktails. Coffee, tea, and other non-alcoholic beverages are also available. Better Than Sex will open its doors to the public with a ribbon cutting event at 5:30 p.m. on October 5, and reservations are recommended.

CULVER’S OF SAVANNAH
The wait is over: Culver’s® of Savannah on West Montgomery Cross Road will celebrate their grand opening on Monday, October 8 at 10 a.m.
Culver’s of Savannah will be the sixth Culver’s restaurant the Smith family has opened. Judy, Terry and their daughter Katie work together, their other restaurants are in Illinois and Indiana. Judy and Terry have had a home in Savannah for 15 years and are excited to be able to bring Culver’s to Savannah. This restaurant is unique for the Smith’s as it is designed around preserving a live oak tree.
For over 30 years, Culver’s guests have been treated to cooked-to-order food made with farm-fresh ingredients, served with a smile. The ever-expanding franchise system now numbers more than 650 independently owned and operated restaurants in 24 states. Join the new Savannah location for their grand opening October 8!

J. PARKER LIMITED
Savannah’s most iconic clothier, J. Parker Limited, opened their second location on Saturday, September 1 in Twelve Oaks Shopping Center at 5500 Abercorn Street in the space next to Starbucks, and a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting is planned for Tuesday, October 9 beginning at 5 p.m.The store has been operating since Jimmy Parker founded it in 1972. Their original 20 West Broughton Street will continue serving the downtown community.
“We listened to our customers’ wishes about opening a second location and then this space became available. The timing was perfect and we know this venue creates a lot of accessibility and convenience for our patrons,” said Parker. Carrying many iconic menswear lines like Barbour, Peter Millar, Southern Tide and Filson and adding women’s wear to the new location, the business is family-owned and operated and has been dressing Savannah for generations. Join J. Parker Limited to celebrate the opening of their second location!

SAINT LEO UNIVERSITY SAVANNAH EDUCATION CENTER
Saint Leo University’s Savannah Education Center will host its grand opening for its new location from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, October 18.
Founded in 1889, Saint Leo University has a proud history of providing an education for students from all backgrounds and all ages. The university has served the Savannah community since 1975, when it began offering classes at Hunter Army Airfield (HAAF) and Fort Stewart. It continues to deliver strong academic programs, one-on-one attention, and support services for students.

AR-Workshop Savannah officially opened for business with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, September 28. Class schedule and sign-up for October is now available at ARWorkshop.com/Savannah.
AR Workshop-Savannah is a locally owned and operated boutique DIY setting where participants select a custom design, assemble and finish “Pinterest-worthy” projects with non-toxic stain and paint. Customers can create everything from framed or plank wood signs, lazy Susans, serving trays, canvas pillows, totes and more. The instructional approach enables visitors at any skill level to produce beautiful artworks and ensures consistent, high-end results for home, office or a personalized gift. Owner, Heather Nelson’s vision for the workshop is a space to build community, inviting both locals and tourists, to create together in a city that is rich in artistic talent.
