Popcorn Geeks Celebrates One Year of Poppin Success
Popcorn Geeks, the beloved gourmet popcorn shop, marked its one-year anniversary with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its nostalgic Pooler storefront on Wednesday, September 25th. Owner James Levine welcomed the community, Chamber leaders, industry partners, and his dedicated team to celebrate the trifecta milestone of the storefront location, food truck, and partnerships with Savannah area businesses. Levine is most thankful to see his products popular in stores of fellow Chamber members and for his food truck being invited out to the area community, spreading joy through handcrafted, locally made gourmet fudge and gourmet popcorn. Levine expressed gratitude for the community’s support, highlighting the exceptional work of his staff and dedication to customer happiness. Ribbon-cutting guests were treated to the “Savannah” gourmet popcorn and a surprising new flavor yet to be launched on the menu. Mary’s Place Sexual Assault Center of the Coastal Empire

Mary’s Place Sexual Assault Center of the Coastal Empire will host a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, October 22nd at 10 AM to commemorate the opening of our brand new “soft room” at the center. The “soft room” includes a newly renovated waiting room and examination room. These newly renovated spaces will better support survivors of sexual assault in our community. Mary’s Place provides a wide range of services to support survivors including telephone advocacy via our 24/7 crisis line, hospital accompaniment, survivor advocacy, support groups, and more. We provide resources and advocacy to over 500 survivors per year and reach over 20,000 youth and young adults with our prevention education programs. Mary’s Place is making a difference in many lives and will continue to address the problem of sexual assault in our community.

SIGC is an indoor, members-only, 24/7 golf performance facility that provides its members the ability to play one of over 300+ golf courses like, Pebble Beach, St. Andrews and Bethpage Black, or practice their golf game with exact data from the world’s most accurate golf simulator – Trackman. In addition to the golf simulators, expert golf instruction is provided by Paul Johnson, Certified PGA Professional. Coach Paul offers a junior golf academy for kids being introduced to the game to elite, collegiate prospects. He also provides adult individualized coaching programs or group classes.
