GEORGIA SOUTHERN-ARMSTRONG CAMPUS MBA PROGRAM

Georgia Southern’s Armstrong Campus is proud to be hosting an open house at its new main headquarters for its MBA programs, the Armstrong Center on Abercorn Street. The open house celebration comes after the announcement at Georgia Southern is moving its MBA program headquarters to Savannah over the next few years, becoming the premier program in the region.

The open house will take place June 27 from 3-7 p.m. Stop by grab a snack and drink and have your questions answered about enrollment! For more information, contact MBA@GeorgiaSouthern.edu.

PELINDABA LAVENDER

Savannah owners Chris Comas, Michele Musto and store manager Barri Marshall are pleased to announce the opening of their new Pelindaba Lavender store and product gallery in the heart of historic downtown Savannah. The gallery exclusively features lavender products handcrafted at Pelindaba’s organically certified lavender farm on San Juan Island, Washington, using the flowers and essential oils it grows and distills right on the farm. Pelindaba Lavender is a twenty-year-old San Juan Island open space preservation project that has steadily developed into a vertically integrated manufacturer and retailer of value-added lavender products handcrafted by local artisans.  It has also gained wide recognition as a unique model of a sustainable community development as well as a highly popular regional agri-tourism destination.

During the grand opening event, 10% of sales will go to benefit the good work done at Coastal Pet Rescue.

THE FAT RADISH SAVANNAH

The Fat Radish team was thrilled to open their doors to Savannah on Tuesday, June 11! This is the first Southern outpost of the notable eatery, which opened in 2010 on Orchard Street in NYC’s Lower East Side and has since become a beloved neighborhood establishment. Guests can expect a menu of locally-sourced dishes from Chef Nick Wilber, like Green Peanut Hummus, Lavash and Carrots; Red Snapper Crudo, Watermelon Aquachile and Pickled Rind; Grilled Bavette Steak, Charred Summer Pepper and Tomato Bread Salad; and Housemade Donuts with Seasonal Jam.

The Fat Radish Savannah is open for dinner seven nights a week, from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Lunch and weekend brunch will launch in the coming weeks. Reservations may be made by calling 912-298-0499, or through RESY.
