Savannah Riverboat Cruises invites Chamber members to an exclusive media tour and presentation of its newest cruise ship, the Georgia Queen. OUR DAILY BREAD CAFE
Our Daily Bread Café will be hosting its grand opening and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, November 15 at 11:30 a.m. where food, drinks and fresh baked goodies will be provided! Our Daily Bread is a counter service bakery and café that serves a full range of scratch-made baked goods such as croissants, pan au chocolat, French macarons, muffins, locally sourced coffee, and a full breakfast/lunch menu. The lunch menu changes regularly to offer newly inspired and seasonal items, and includes several vegan and vegetarian options.

GOODWILL OF THE COASTAL EMPIRE
Goodwill of the Coastal Empire will open its new Savannah flagship store on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 9 am. As the community’s partner in workforce development, Goodwill trains people to work – because jobs change lives.
Through the community’s support of Goodwill’s stores, donation centers and business services Goodwill is able to help individuals in overcoming barriers and disabilities with a hand up, not a hand out. As a result, they delivered more than 7,020 hours of youth mentorship with our Good Guides program, placed 1,401 individuals into employment and served more than 5,100 people in our Job Connection Centers in 2015.

STEWART INCOME TAX & BUSINESS SERVICES
Stewart Income Tax & Business Services will open a new Savannah location at 4395 Ogeechee Rd #210, on Thursday, November 17. The office offers tax preparation for individuals and small businesses, bookkeeping and payroll services. A grand opening ceremony will be held with a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. This event is free and open to the public. Leading up to and during the event, nonperishable food items will be collected for Second Harvest Food Bank. Stewart Income Tax & Business Services will be accepting donations from November 7-17, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, November 12 and 13. The following items will be collected: canned foods, peanut butter, boxed macaroni and cheese, Hamburger Helper, rice and cereal. After the ribbon cutting, guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments. Stewart will also be awarding door prizes during the event.
