Grand Openings and Ribbon Cuttings for the Week of 8/14/17

MUSIC MEDICINE INSTITUTE

Music Medicine Institute will be hosting an invitation-only ribbon cutting on August 24. The nonprofit is celebrating its new full-time service line providing music therapy to persons of all ages. Music Medicine Institute’s Founder and Board President, Dr. Elizabeth Jacobi, has been rigorously preparing for this day. The team is excited to offer music therapy as a healthcare provider located at the clinic facility located at 106 C Oglethorpe Professional Court.

Music Medicine Institute’s Licensed and Board-Certified Music Therapist utilizes music and musical experiences to achieve non-musical goals, such as addressing the physical, social-emotional, cognitive, communication and sensory needs of individuals. The clinic is fully prepared with a wide variety of instruments and adaptive equipment to accommodate persons with various levels of abilities.
