The Chamber congratulates Oaks Senior Living on the ground breaking for its first location out of the Metro Atlanta area on September 22 at 125 Southern Junction Blvd., in Pooler. Attendees were able to hear from Congressman Buddy Carter, Pooler Mayor Mike Lamb and executive director of the Pooler Chamber, Pam Southard, on the importance of such an establishment in the Savannah area. The new two-story community will be home to nearly 100 seniors and will bring more than 65 jobs to the town of Pooler. The 5-acre site is expected to be completed in late 2016.
