About 100 guests attended the recent launch event for the Savannah Event Network, a comprehensive resource for event organizers and vendors founded by Tammy Moseley Ray. Businesses affiliated with events are invited to join the Savannah Event Network to access information; three membership levels are based on business type – nonprofit, corporate/individual or vendor. Benefits include a planning calendar to assist in avoiding date conflicts; a vendor directory of local businesses that provide goods and services for all types of events; a request for proposal system for event organizers to request quotes from member vendors; networking opportunities; a newsletter to communicate member updates, announcements, job openings and other news, and a blog to share trends, behind-the-scenes secrets, tips from vendors and more.
