Visit Savannah Leadership Attends DMAI Conference in Texas
The leadership team at Visit Savannah attended the Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) annual convention in Austin, Texas, last week. The event, where tourism marketing organizations from around the world gather to discuss best practices and emerging trends, focused on key industry topics like DMOs working in collaboration with economic development agencies, social and mobile marketing and the “shared economy.” Two Visit Savannah team members were recognized at the event: Joseph Marinelli as incoming chair of the Destination & Travel Foundation and Ellie Sprague as a “30 Under 30” honoree.
