CBS Morning Show Features Savannah in New Segment
As part of a new series, “CBS Mornings” surprised lead national correspondent David Begnaud with a plane ticket at the airport just hours before boarding, with the challenge of finding a special story once he lands. For the very first episode, they kicked things off in Savannah.
The Visit Savannah team connected the CBS team with some of our favorite personalities around town. CBS News is one of the many national news outlets with which the Visit Savannah team maintains friendly working relationships, so our community continues to get opportunities like this to share our unique stories with the world.
