Director of Digital Marketing Lauren Cleland and Communications Manager Summer Bozeman attended the 2018 Domestic Travel Bloggers’ Exchange conference, or TBEX, in Corning, New York last week. As one of the event sponsors, Visit Savannah’s logo was displayed on event signage, and Cleland and Bozeman were able to set up a booth with destination information and a selfie spot backdrop. On the first day of the conference, the Visit Savannah team filled their speed networking appointment card and met with 24 vetted bloggers and digital influencers to discuss potential partnerships in 2019. They also met with bloggers and influencers during the conference sessions on day two in order to get as many conversations in as possible. The team returned to Savannah having made many valuable connections to consider in their 2019 influencer promotion planning.
