Destination Analysts: Visitor Centers and Traveler Sentiment
Destination Analysts continues to see positive signs related to spring travel with more growth expected into the summer and fall months. According to a Destinations Analysis Survey, one good indicator is that over half of those planning upcoming travel have indicated their interest in again utilizing the services at local visitor centers. That’s terrific news for us here in Savannah and Tybee Island. We now have all of our Visitor Information Centers, on MLK Blvd., River Street, Tybee Island and the Georgia Welcome Center on I-95, after being closed for nearly a year – are all open again.
