Forbes Magazine online recently named Savannah one of “The 10 Coolest Cities to Visit in 2018,” along with the likes of Philadelphia; Detroit; Portland, Maine; Columbus, Indiana; Richmond, Virigina; Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Baltimore; San Antonio and Louisville, Kentucky.
Forbes quoted Melissa Briggs Bradley, CEO and founder of Indagare, a community of experts offering a one-stop resource with content and itineraries, as describing Savannah as, “one of the best-preserved vestiges of the American South, Savannah proudly displays gracious hospitality, beautiful architecture, rich history and classic charm.” The article also recognizes that creativity is a big part of the city’s fabric as home to the Savannah College of Art and Design, and mentions several member businesses topping visitors’ bucket lists lately, such as Perry Lane Hotel and Husk.
