Anjuli Derien, Visit Savannah’s group tour & entertainment manager, sat for nearly 50 appointments with tour operators and networked with countless more last week at Travel South Domestic Showcase in Myrtle Beach. Travel South Showcase is the premier Marketplace event in the South where more than 600 tourism professionals gather for three days of intensive meetings with a goal of delivering more visitors, and influencing visitors to spend more time and more money in the South. This regional appointment-style marketplace offers the most targeted opportunity for tour operators and wholesalers to meet face to face with Southerns suppliers.
