This past week, Visit Savannah’s Group Tour & Film Entertainment Sales Manager Anjuli Derien and partners performed a mini sales mission to the Birmingham, Alabama meetings market with more than 20 appointments over three days. These appointments included the Birmingham area Girl Scout Council, churches, senior centers, and motorcoach charter companies. Since returning to the office, five of the 20 appointments have already called to solidify travel plans to Savannah beginning in December, 2019 and throughout 2020.
