Hotel/Motel Tax and Occupancy Update for December, 2018
Visit Savannah compiles City of Savannah, Chatham County and Tybee Island hotel/motel tax collection data, Savannah area hotel occupancy and Savannah area ADR (average daily rate) each month. See below for information on December, 2018.
Savannah’s average daily rate over the entire year of 2018 was $117.34, an increase of about $1 above 2017’s ADR. The Historic District ADR in 2018 was $174.92, an increase of about $2.50 over 2017. Occupancy percentages remained flat from 2017 to 2018, with the overall area’s occupancy at about 70%, and Historic District occupancy at about 78%.
