Visit Savannah President Joseph Marinelli and several Visit Savannah staff members attended the Destinations International annual conference in Montreal last week. Marinelli, who has served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the last two years, completed his duty with the passing of the gavel in front of more than 1,400 international tourism marketing attendees. Staff attended breakout sessions ranging from marketing, convention sales, social media and accounting.
Lauren Cleland, Visit Savannah’s digital content marketing strategist, was also recognized at the conference as one of the elite “30 Under 30” young professionals. In past years, other staffers including Director of Marketing Megan White, Interactive Marketing Manager Zeek Coleman and former Sales Manager Ellie Sprague have also received the honor.
