Lufthansa Familiarization Tour Visits Savannah

Savannah hosted a portion of the annual Brand USA Mega FAM last week. Each year, the U.S. tourism marketing organization sends top professionals to several regions of the country as part of an educational process exposing them to many destinations. In partnership with Lufthansa Airlines, Savannah had a total of 13 top travel agents and tour operations visit from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The group ate lunch at The Crab Shack on Tybee Island and went on a dolphin cruise sponsored by Bull River Cruises and enjoyed The Bohemian’s Rocks on the Roof. At the end of the Mega FAM, each region compiles photos and blogs from their destination visits and share them with their colleagues who were assigned to other parts of the country.
