The National Tour Association (NTA) hosted more than 150 tour operators in Savannah for its annual Contact conference Aug. 19-22. The tour operator retreat offered members a chance to experience Savannah while networking and attending educational sessions.
According to NTA’s website, Contact is a “blend of business, education and fun in an intimate setting.” In addition to several informational sessions, tour operators went on sightseeing tours, attended an opening reception at the Savannah Theatre and the Green-Meldrim House and a closing reception at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force during the three-day conference.

Attendees also participated in a beach sweep volunteer effort on Tybee Island’s South Beach Saturday, Aug. 23 with Tourism Cares.
