Savannah Celebrates National Travel and Tourism Week with Proclamation
On Thursday, April 30, the City of Savannah proclaimed May 2-10 Travel and Tourism Week in Savannah, in accordance with National Travel and Tourism Week. Pictured with the proclamation are Joseph Marinell, Visit Savannah president and Michael Owens, CEO of the Tourism Leadership Council (TLC).
This nationwide week of events serves to champion the power of the tourism industry. A wide cross section of travel and tourism professionals work throughout the week to promote the impactful contributions their travel markets and organizations make to the U.S. economy.
