Savannah Hosts Chinese Rock ‘n’ Rollers
Visit Savannah and the Georgia Department of Economic Development hosted a group of ten Chinese runners in the Savannah Rock ‘n Roll Marathon.
“The visitors were able to take the new Delta non-stop flight from Shanghai to Atlanta, then on to Savannah,” said Kevin Langston, the Deputy Commissioner of the GDEcD. After a brief visit in Atlanta, they flew on Delta to explore Savannah and eat lunch at the Crab Shack on Tybee Island.
“We are hopeful that their experience in our city will be the inspiration for many more runners and visitors from that part of the globe. Savannah welcomes all!” said Joseph Marinelli, President of Visit Savannah.
