Last week, the Savannah Sports Council traveled to Birmingham, AL for client meetings, including the SEC Conference, where they discussed potential SEC Conference Championships that could be hosted in Savannah. This was the first visit by the Sports Council to the SEC offices. The meeting included positive conversations about the SEC considering possible equestrian sports, ladies basketball, and golf events as well.
